The care and consideration that I have received from Gill Wilson is exemplary. Her knowledge and expertise have helped me more than words can say. She is absolutely ‘first class’ - both physically and mentally and will do everything in her power to solve any concerns I may have with my stoma. Please don’t ever retire, Gill!

From the outset the care, compassion and professionalism shown by Gill was just incredible. My wife was admitted to hospital with what turned out to be bowel cancer and had emergency surgery and a stoma. This was of course a shock to us and something my wife had not expected and so for us all was something we needed to come to terms with and learn about quickly. Gill was there for us as incredible support with honest caring and practical guidance. We honestly cannot thank Gill enough. Her help continued as she was always available with any questions we had when unsure. Incredible care from an incredible lady.

In the first meeting with Jill she was very helpful and explicit in the demonstrating of my particular problem My meeting with the consultant did not co inside with Gill day of work so we were very appreciative she came into work on her day off to accommodate us

I first met Gill Wilson in October 2019 after my operation for bowel cancer and had to have an ileostomy in Harrogate Hospital. From the first meeting with Gill after my surgery and back on the ward , I knew I was in good hands. Gill took great care in explaining exactly what I would be dealing with. Gill was always there when I needed her and was in my opinion very professional and kind . In all I had my ileostomy for almost 20 months and with Gill’s expertise and compassion it made my journey much smoother and manageable throughout.. Even on the ward after my reversal in April 2021, Gill would come and see me and reassure me that all was well. Gill Wilson is a very special lady indeed, and once again thank you.
